4 - proof delivery + image selection

After your shoot, I'll curate the best images, apply an initial round of edits, and send them to you in an online gallery with instructions on how to select the ones you'd like to purchase. The turnaround time varies by season, but I'll provide an estimated timeline during your session. If you need a rush on your photos, please let me know your deadline before booking so I can ensure I am able to meet your expectations.

5 - FINAL EDITS + PAYMENT

Once you've selected your images, I'll send an invoice for the remaining balance and complete the final edits. For details on the edits included, please visit the Movement Pricing page under "Investments" in the menu.

6 - IMAGE DELIVERY

Once your payment has been received, I'll deliver your images via email in a new online gallery that will allow you to instantly download them.

FAQ

How far in advance do I need to book?

My books are open one year in advance (or further upon request). If you're looking to book a session in late summer or fall, keep in mind that this is my busiest season, and dates fill up quickly. The earlier you secure your spot, the better! Booking early also helps ensure a smoother experience and timely delivery of your images, as turnaround times may be extended for sessions scheduled last-minute during peak season.

When and how do I pay?

You will be prompted to pay for your session during the booking process. Payments can be made with credit/debit cards, PayPal, or ApplePay. Images will be billed via invoice in a separate transaction after you have selected the ones you wish to purchase.

How do we choose the location for our shoot?

Choosing the perfect location is a collaborative process. If you already have a spot that’s special to you, I’d love to capture your session there! If not, I have plenty of location ideas and can suggest options based on your preferences and vision. I’m always scouting unique spots off the beaten path and am always up for an adventure!

When will i receive my edited photos?

This will depend on the season as some are busier than others, but in general I try to have movement photos delivered within 14-30 days. I take a very hands-on approach to each and every photo, as opposed to using AI, batch editing, or hiring out for editing, so my timeline may be longer compared to others who utilize those services.

Can you help me choose my attire for my session?

Once we’ve selected your location, we can go over styling details to ensure everything complements the setting and overall aesthetic. Whether you need guidance on attire, selecting colors that photograph well, or achieving a specific vibe, I’m happy to offer recommendations to help you feel confident and camera-ready.

How long does a typical session last?

Movement sessions typically last between 1 to 2 hours, depending on how many location and outfit changes you are planning.

How will I receive my images?

You will receive an online gallery of digital images that can be downloaded directly to your computer or device. An online print shop will also be directly linked to the image gallery to make ordering prints easy. Your gallery can be shared as many times as you like and will remain online for 60 days.

What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy?

Once you pay your session fee and your date is secured, I will no longer accept inquiries for that date. For this reason, your session fee is non-refundable. If you need to reschedule, it can be applied to a new session provided a new date is confirmed at least 14 days before your original session. Studio rental fees may or may not transfer to new dates as it depends on their individual policies, so that portion of your session fee is not guaranteed to transfer to a new date. In cases of severe inclement weather requiring last-minute rescheduling, we will discuss alternative arrangements, and your retainer will transfer to the new session. If no suitable alternative can be arranged, refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
